CEO and President

Doug Chapiewsky is leading Kanso Software through a reinvention from a 25-year-old company into a modern sustainable going forward entity. As CEO and President, he oversees the company’s ongoing efforts to expand the Kanso platform into new markets.

Prior to joining the company in 2012, Doug founded a telecommunications software company that was sold to a publicly traded Israeli firm. He started his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories and held a variety of engineering and management positions.

Doug earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from St. Mary’s University, an advanced degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management, and a winner of the Colorado Titan 100.

COO & CFO

As COO & CFO, Jennifer Wageman oversees the finance function as well as the operation for Kanso Software. Jennifer started her career in public accounting as an auditor at EKS&H in Denver, Colorado and then began focusing on early-stage technology companies, gaining significant experience in the financial operations of SaaS companies. In 2014, Jennifer became a managing partner in Now CFO, which specialized in outsourced accounting and CFO services. During her time at NOW CFO, Jennifer led in the successful closing of five sell-side and over ten buy-side acquisitions as an interim CFO or consultant to executives.

Jennifer is an inactive CPA and a graduate of Southwestern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She enjoys living on a small farm in Durango, Colorado near many outdoor activities in the area. Jenn is also a certified Spiral Method practitioner.

Haile, at the helm of product development as Kanso Software’s Chief Product Officer, brings ten years of innovative leadership. Her blend of business insight, design orientation, and user-focused approach has been pivotal in elevating Kanso’s products to new industry benchmarks. Haile initiated her journey at Kanso following her Cum Laude graduation from the University of Arkansas Grantham with a Bachelor of Science degree, setting a solid foundation for her role in transforming industry standards. She enjoys managing a mini homestead in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, three daughters, and three dogs.

Sales & Marketing

Townsend, as the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Kanso Software, embodies a dynamic blend of entrepreneurial spirit and seasoned business growth expertise. His career began in business-to-business sales, swiftly elevating him to a VP position in a Fortune 500 company. He then successfully founded his own company, achieving $3 million in revenue, showcasing his strategic prowess. Townsend later shifted focus to coaching, guiding over 190 founders, and thereby demonstrating a deep understanding of diverse business landscapes.

At Kanso, Townsend spearheads innovative sales and marketing strategies, maintaining a balance between professional excellence and personal well-being. His educational journey, marked by practical experiences, aligns seamlessly with his proactive and growth-focused approach to business leadership.
